Position overview:
We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead our talented creative team and drive the agency’s creative strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of creativity, leadership, and strategic insight, with a proven track record of delivering compelling campaigns that elevate brand presence. Additionally, this individual must have extensive experience in both writing and design services.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative creative strategies that align with client goals and the agency’s vision.
- Lead the establishment and development of the writing department, ensuring a strong focus on storytelling and content creation.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Design and Head of Video Production to enhance departmental processes and improve how HNN delivers creative solutions.
- Oversee the conceptualisation and execution of creative concepts for clients, including campaigns and brand refreshes.
- Mentor, inspire, and guide the creative team to produce high-quality, impactful work that exceeds client expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and client markets to inform creative strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Present creative concepts and ideas to clients, incorporating feedback to achieve optimal results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Branding, Marketing, Communication, or a related field. Candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience (10-15 years) of which 6 years are in a creative leadership role within the marketing or advertising industry.
- Financial management of projects and profitability.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects and successful campaigns.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
- Proficiency in creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or equivalent tools.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for aligning creative vision with client objectives.
