Position overview:
We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead our talented creative team and drive the agency’s creative strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of creativity, leadership, and strategic insight, with a proven track record of delivering compelling campaigns that elevate brand presence. Additionally, this individual must have extensive experience in both writing and design services.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute innovative creative strategies that align with client goals and the agency’s vision.
  2. Lead the establishment and development of the writing department, ensuring a strong focus on storytelling and content creation.
  3. Collaborate closely with the Head of Design and Head of Video Production to enhance departmental processes and improve how HNN delivers creative solutions.
  4. Oversee the conceptualisation and execution of creative concepts for clients, including campaigns and brand refreshes.
  5. Mentor, inspire, and guide the creative team to produce high-quality, impactful work that exceeds client expectations.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and client markets to inform creative strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  7. Present creative concepts and ideas to clients, incorporating feedback to achieve optimal results.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Design, Branding, Marketing, Communication, or a related field. Candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
  2. Proven experience (10-15 years) of which 6 years are in a creative leadership role within the marketing or advertising industry.
  3. Financial management of projects and profitability.
  4. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects and successful campaigns.
  5. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  6. Proficiency in creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or equivalent tools.
  7. Strategic thinker with a passion for aligning creative vision with client objectives.
